Golf Comes Away With Top 10 Finish In First Tournament Of Season

JANESVILLE, Wis. – MSOE men's golf opened up their season this weekend, heading to Janesville, Wis. to take part in the Culver's-Edgewood Fall Classic at Glen Erin GC. The Raiders were consistent over the course of Friday and Saturday, finish both days in a tie for 10th place. While Webster took home the title with an overall score of 581, the Raiders were less than 20 strokes away from a top five finish.

TOP GOLFER
Bryce Lindsley (T-19th) didn't miss a step between the end of last season and now, taking his usual spot as the leader for the Red & White on the scoreboard. The junior turned in the best individual round for the team during the two-day tournament with a 74 on the second day of competition. A 78 during the first day allowed teammate Garrett Schultz to get close to claiming the team lead, but still fell one stroke behind Lindsley's 152.
