MILWAUKEE - Senior Zach Woodman has been named the Ian's Pizza Raider of the Week for Jan. 29.
The Hockey team took three out of four points over the weekend, skating to a 1-1 draw at Lake Forest Friday before handling Aurora 4-1 Saturday on home ice. Woodman played all 125 minutes in goal, making 51 saves and allowing just two goals (0.96 GAA). The games were his seventh and eighth games of allowing one goal or fewer this season. He also added an assist on the first goal Saturday, notching his first collegiate point.
Woodman is currently ahead of school-record paces with both a 1.81 GAA and .939 save percentages. Assistant coach Connor Toomey set both school standards as a senior in 2011-12 when he posted a 1.98 GAA and .926 save percentage.
The Raiders close out their home schedule Friday, hosting Concordia Wisconsin in the first half of a home-and-home weekend series.
