All Eyes On NACC Outdoors After UW-Whitewater Alternative

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The thing with outdoor events is that sometimes the weather just gets in the way. That's what happened this week, as MSOE men's track and field had to change course and head to the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative Meet at the Rex Foster Track Complex. The Raiders focused on field events, looking to just get the kinks worked out before next weekend.

Tyler Brantner (Elk Mound, Wis. / Elk Mound) took home top honors this week after placing in the top 15 in two different field events. Brantner first placed 10th in the high jump, coming in with a mark of 1.76 meters. Next up was the men's long jump, where he still came in 15th even after two fouls with a mark of 5.83 meters.

Alex Moran (Lindehnurst, Ill. / Grayslake North) – 6th in high jump
Keaton Harrison (Cambridge, Wis. / Cambridge) – 12th in high jump
Jack O'Sullivan (Sugar Grove, Ill. / Kaneland) – 10th in pole vault
Nick Nuchicat (Germantown, Wis. / Germantown) – 12th in pole vault
Noah Waech (West Bend, Wis. / West) – 9th in javelin throw
Tyler Ellsworth (Elkhorn, Wis. / Elkhorn Area) – 14th in javelin throw

The focus is all on the NACC Outdoor championships, where the men will try to take top honors in the conference, as well as punch their ticket to the NCAA Outdoor Championships. That meet takes place on May 3rd and 4th on the campus of Benedictine University.
