Softball Picked Fifth in NACC Preseason Poll

MILWAUKEE - The MSOE softball team has been picked fifth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference poll.

The Raiders tallied 215 points in the poll of league coaches and sports information directors, trailing Dominican in fourth-place by just three points. MSOE finished tied for second in the NACC last season at 17-5 as it set a school record for wins in a season with 29 and qualified for its second-ever NACC Tournament.

Preseason All-American junior Emily Snow leads eight starters returning from last season. Snow batted .477 with 23 doubles and 43 runs batted in on her way to All-America Second-Team and NACC Player of the Year honors.

The 2018 season gets underway Feb. 26 against Hanover and Alma.
