GREENCASTLE, Ind. – Freshman Sara Travia (Glendale, Wis./Nicolet) scored two goals in her collegiate debut as the MSOE women's soccer team scored four second-half goals in starting the 2013 season with a 4-1 win over DePauw Friday evening in Greencastle.

The Raiders (1-0) trailed after the 34th minutes, but got on the board and scored three goals in an 8:05 span to take control of the game and down the Tigers (0-1).

Travia's first goal knotted the game at 1-1 in the 66th minute with her first goal off an assist from sophomore Natalie Gayner (Whitefish, Mt./Whitefish). Just under four minutes later, sophomore Caitlin Liddiard (Waukesha, Wis./South) nabbed the game-winner unassisted.

Travia added an insurance goal in the 75th minute and Gayner put the game out of reach with a goal of her own in the 81st minute to make it 4-1. Senior Paula Bohl (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) and sophomore Anna O'Donnell (Plainfield, Ill./North) also had assists for MSOE.

DePauw struck first, breaking through in the 34th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Megann Lear scored for the Tigers, unassisted.

The Raiders held a decisive 16-7 shot advantage in the match and earned three corner kicks to DePauw's two.
