Raiders Struggle At Midwest Region Fall Classic

GALENA, Ill. – The Red & White were back on the links this weekend, participating in the Midwest Region Fall Classic. While they finished farther back than they would have preferred after 36 holes, they battled back on Saturday to place in the middle of the pack against the largest field they have seen so far this season.

T-22nd out of 36 (646 strokes)

Garrett Schultz came in with a two-round score of 152, good enough to lead the Raiders this weekend. While everyone struggled to find their swing at the Midwest Region Fall Classic, Schultz overcame a tough day one (78) with a score of 74 during the second day of competition. This was good for a total of 152 and a T-18th place finish. Unfortunately, he would be the only Red & White team member to place in the top 100, with their next best placing being Bryce Lindsley's and Jordan Wachowiak's 166 which put them in a tie for 114th.

T-130th: Michael Barbeau (85+83 = 168)
T-141st: Brett O'Shaughnessy (86+84 = 170)

T-114th: Anthony Koch (88+78 = 166)

With only three tournaments remaining, MSOE is entering the home stretch of the 2019 fall season. The dash to the finish line starts with the two day WLC Fall Invitational on September 21st and 22nd.
