MILWAUKEE – Junior Emily Snow of the MSOE softball team was named to the NFCA All-Great Lakes Region First Team when the organization announced its honors Wednesday.
Snow was named to the NFCA All-America Second Team last season—the first All-American in program history—after earning All-Region First Team honors for the first time. This season, she was named to the All-NACC First Team for the third-straight season.
Snow started 38 games this season, batting .458 with four home runs and 36 runs batted in. She finished second in the NACC in batting average and had a league-best 20 doubles. She has reached base at a .528 clip and shared the team lead with 39 runs scored. Behind the plate, MSOE leads the league with the fewest stolen bases against (21) despite her needing to throw out just five runners.
The Raiders had another big season in 2018, winning 25 games and qualifying for the NACC Tournament for the second-straight season.
