MILWAUKEE – Senior Samantha Brooker posted a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds. However, it wasn't enough as the MSOE women's basketball team fell to Aurora (11-12, 11-8 NACC) 56-32 Wednesday evening at Hotchkin Arena.
The Raiders fell behind from the start and couldn't catch up. In the seventh minute of the first quarter, Aurora went on a 12-point break that grew gradually towards the end of the game. Hand it to MSOE as the players continued to battle with good looks, but nothing seemed to fall in their favor.
Despite the loss, the Raiders (12-12, 10-9 NACC) remain in the hunt for a NACC Tournament bid as they close out the regular season.
The Raiders return to the court this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. for the first part of a men's and women's double-header versus Marian University.
