MILWAUKEE - MSOE women's soccer was looking to continue their winning ways when they welcomed Benedictine to Viets Field. The Raiders were successful in adding to their win column, defeating the Eagles 3-2 in a game that saw a very exciting finish.

MSOE – 3
HOW IT HAPPENED
This afternoon's contest was a fun ballgame to watch, complete with an thrilling ending. MSOE was lightning quick to register the first goal of the contest as Caitie LeVasseur scored just 46 seconds after kickoff. This set the tone for the game, which was often chaotic and featured numerous looks for both teams. Benedictine evened the match up just nine minutes later, but that wouldn't last for long. Caitie LeVasseur added yet another point to her growing total when she assisted on the Jeray Riffel goal at the 16' mark, handing the Raiders a 2-1 lead that would hold up for some time. The game went scoreless from then up to the 83rd minute when Nikki Ratts gave the Raiders an insurance goal to make it 3-1. They would need to cash in on that insurance just two minutes later, as the Eagles brought themselves within one with four and a half minutes to play. Benedictine took two more shots that had to be turned away within the time remaining, but it was the Raiders who came away with their fifth conference victory when the final horn sounded.
- The Red & White have now won ten straight games against the Eagles, with their last loss coming during the 2010 season.
- This is the second straight game with Caitie LeVasseur registering three points. The freshman is now up to 18 on the season.
