Tennis Splits At Town Club Tournament

FOX POINT, Wis. – Losing a hard-fought match is tough, but it's how you respond that matters. After falling to Carroll on Friday, the MSOE women's tennis team was back in action at the Town Club Tournament against both Elmhurst and Loras. While they finished the day 1-1, they could have easily taken both, as each battle was full of positives for the Raiders.

Daniela Svedova keeps cruising right along in the opening weekend of her Raider career. The junior now moves to 6-0 in combined doubles and singles play, with all the victories coming in convincing fashion. She didn't allow either of her singles opponents to win more than two games in any set, while she and teammate Hannah Marron battled to victories in both their doubles matches.

The Red & White will open conference play this Wednesday when they head to Concordia-Wisconsin for a 4:00 pm match in Mequon.
