Raiders Drop NACC Opener To CUW

MEQUON, Wis. - Women's tennis was the first team to open up NACC play this season, taking on Concordia Wisconsin this afternoon. Up to this point, the Raiders have yet to log a win against the home team in the series history. Unfortunately, the Falcons easily defeated the Red & White on Wednesday afternoon, moving to 15-0 against the Raiders.

While her perfect season fell by the wayside, Daniela Svedova kept impressing this afternoon. She picked up yet another doubles victory with teammate Hannah Marron in the number one spot, while battling all the way in her tough top singles defeat. Still, through the first four matches on North American turf, the current Ian's Pizza Raider of the Week is a stealer 7-1.

The Red and White will play two on Saturday afternoon, taking on NACC foe Edgewood at 10:00 am before stepping out of conference play against UW-River Falls at 2:00 pm. Both matches will take place in Madison, Wis.
