MILWAUKEE – The women of MSOE volleyball hit the court in game action for the first time in a week, welcoming Concordia-Wisconsin and Mount Mary to Hotchkin Arena. CUW – 3 (25, 28, 25)
MSOE – 0 (18, 26, 11)
Mount Mary – 0 (11, 17, 11)

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first battle of the afternoon went to Concordia-Wisconsin (10-5, 3-0 NACC), but it wasn't as simple as that. MSOE (6-11, 1-1 NACC) played tough in the first two sets before running out of gas in the third. The Raiders hit -.129 in the first set before losing 25-18, but the Red and White were only three points out at 17-14 before the Falcons pulled away. MSOE actually led for most of the second set and were only three points away from victory before CUW swooped in. The Falcons scored five in a row to take the 24-22 lead, and even though it went to extra points the Raiders fell 28-26. MSOE couldn't get anything going in the third, committing eight errors compared to just one for CUW, losing the match 3-0.
The second game of the afternoon was a much different story. The Raiders hit .267 as a team against Mount Mary (1-15), including a first set hitting percentage of .480. The Red and White limited the Blue Angels to just 11 points twice and forced them to hit just -.086 for the match. Three different Raiders registered six kills, with Bekah Smith tallying 12 digs to go along with Grace Brock's 11 assists in the easy 3-0 win over Mounty Mary.
